Highend and Drugstore Summer Nude Lipsticks

I love a good ole' nude lipstick. When I am pale, I usually go for the likes of Mac's Myth and Creme d'nude. I really like the look of somewhat "erased" lips.

Now that its summer, I actually have a bit of color (this is a first for me). I've found that my nudes are just to pale; so I was forced to dig through my lip stash to find some new favorites. I'm happy to report that I found a cheapie to enjoy and one that's more expensive, but to me well worth it.

First off is from Wet N'Wild. That's right. You heard me. Wet N'Wild. It's one of their new matte lipsticks. Sadly, I cannot tell you its proper name, but its number is 900BP.
I got this color a few months ago, and it just looked odd on me when I was paler. It's certainly a lighter nude, but it has a really peachy, almost orange color to it, so it looks much better with darker skin.
The formula is really nice. It's relatively creamy and pigmented and not super drying. I do put a lip balm on underneath just to be safe. There is no smell that I can detect. Wear time is good as well.

.

The next lipstick is from Mac. It's called Blankety and its a Amplified finish. This ensures that it's seriously pigmented and creamy with a good wear time. Amplifieds are my favorite formula from Mac.

Blankety is just a really natural color. It's more of a brown pinky nude, and I think it would look good on a lot of people. It won't wash you out, and it just leaves things looking really natural.

I hope in some way this was helpful, thanks for reading!
